A-19 Sowing of ecological, local crops

No âmbito do projeto ERASMUS*/CLAP, os nossos alunos do PCA deram início à atividade A19 do projeto (semeando/plantando cuturas locais). Já temos alguns resultados interessantes: bróculos, couves e alfaces bem desenvolvidas, muito e bom trabalho feito, alguns visitantes desejáveis e outros nem tanto...(para mais informação clicar no link).

Under the ERASMUS * / CLAP project, our PCA students initiated project activity A19 (planting / planting local crops). We already have some interesting results: broccoli, cabbages and lettuces well developed, very good work done, some visitors desirable and others not so much ... Vegetable garden november 2016

In noovember of 2016, the students of the Biotourism vocational course worked in the garden, preparing the soil, also in the place where the greenhouse is now being built.

Cuidando das nossas cenouras / Caring about our carrots

Hoje precisamos selecionar as nossas futuras cenouras, eliminando algumas.

Elas devem ter uma distância de 5 cm entre si, para que possam crescer grandes, saudáveis e nutritivas.

É isso que os alunos da classe PCA aparecem a fazer nas fotos a seguir..

Today we had to select our future carrots, eliminating some. 

They must have a distance of 5 cm between each other, so they can grow big, healthy and nutritious. 

That`s what our students from PCA class are doing in the photos. 

Sowing day / Dia de semear

Na Suécia, Polónia e Portygal, os alunos semearam no mesmo dia, 31/03/17, as mesmas sementes (cebola e cenoura).

Aqui fica um pequeno filme com o trabalho dos nossos alunos do curso vocacional de Bioturismo.

 In Sweden, Poland and Portygal, the students sowed the same seeds (onion and carrot) on the same day, 31/03/17.

7ºA aprende sobre Compostagem / 7A class learns about composting

Hoje, a turma 7A, em aula prática de Ciências Naturais, aprendeu como fazer a compostagem a partir de resíduos produzidos na escola e em casa.

Os alunos puderam ainda aplicar os seus conhecimentos na resolução do crucigrama patente na exposição sobre o tema patente na escola, já abordada em post anterior.

Today, Class 7A, in a practical class of Natural Sciences, learned how to make compost from waste produced at school and at home.

The students were also able to apply their knowledge in solving the crossword puzzle in the exposition on the topic at the school, already discussed in the previous post.

January is the month of Composting / Janeiro é o mês da compostagem

Durante o mês de janeiro incumbe-nos abordar este tema, de acordo com o previsto no nosso projeto, de que deixamos aqui uma nota fotográfica, nomeadamente da turma PCA, que deu início à recolha de resíduos da cantina e bar da escola (restos de fruta, pão e borra de café).

O compostor da imagem será o primeiro a ser cheio ao longo do ano letivo, e eesperamos conseguir desta forma um bom fertilizante para a nossa horta, onde será instalada uma estufa.

During the month of January we have to address this issue, according to what was foreseen in our project, that we leave here a photographic note, namely from the PCA class, which started the collection of waste from the school canteen and bar (remains of Fruit, bread and coffee grounds). The image composer will be the first to be filled throughout the school year, and we hope to get a good fertilizer for our garden, where a greenhouse will be installed.
