The students Tiago Lino and Tomás Carvalho do 8A, Mykyta Shvets and Carolina Alves do 9A, accompanied by teachers Carlos Ribeiro (group leader), Carla Pinheiro and Maria Ivone Grácio, participated in an exchange in the city of Oswiecim between the 5th and 9th of November, of which we present below some of the activities carried out:
5 de Novembro
No primeiro dia a equipa
encontrou-se na escola, em Rajsko, onde decorreu a cerimónia de abertura, após a
qual os alunos fizeram uma visita à escola e os professores coordenadores
estiveram reunidos.
O almoço decorreu no refeitório
da escola e constou de uma refeição tipicamente polaca.
Depois do almoço decorreram
atividades na piscina municipal até às dezasseis horas, onde os pais das
famílias de acolhimento recolheram os seus educandos e os alunos estrangeiros.
5 of November
On the first day the team met at the school in Rajsko, where the opening ceremony was held, after which the students paid a visit to the school and the coordinating teachers were gathered.
Lunch took place in the school cafeteria and consisted of a typical Polish meal.
After lunch there were activities in the municipal swimming pool until sixteen hours, where the parents of the host families gathered their students and the foreign students.
6 de Novembro
Viagem até Stryszdow, onde se
visitou uma quinta pedagógica, na qual se pode ter contacto com diversas
atividades e soluções sustentáveis, nomeadamente a exploração de ervas
aromáticas, técnicas de construção sustentável e reutilização da água. Assistiu-se
ainda a uma palestra sobre a utilização
e benefícios de algumas plantas.
Foram ainda realizadas uma
oficina de confeção/preparação de queijo fresco com ervas aromáticas e outros
condimentos.
O dono desta quinta também é
escultor e houve a oportunidade de apreciar as suas obras de arte.
Foram ainda realizadas
atividades de carácter lúdico no hostel em Wola Libertowska.
Trip to Stryszdow, where a pedagogical farm was visited, where you can have contact with various activities and sustainable solutions, namely the exploration of herbs, techniques of sustainable construction and reuse of water. A lecture was also given on the use and benefits of some plants.
There was also a confection / preparation workshop for fresh cheese with herbs and other seasonings.
The owner of this farmhouse is also a sculptor and there was the opportunity to appreciate his works of art.
There were also activities of a playful nature at the hostel in Wola Libertowska.

Realizou-se uma
visita a uma quinta na qual se realizou uma oficina de produção de queijo e
respetiva degustação.
Numka visita a um museu em Zarki, os participantes aprenderam como se faz como se faz a farinha e se produzem barris.

A visit was made to a farm where a cheese production workshop and a tasting took place.

8 de Novembro
Os
alunos foram à primeira aula com os parceiros, seguidamente realizaram uma
atividade que consistia em colocar os alimentos que tinham disponíveis na
pirâmide alimentar de acordo com a sua hierarquia. Deslocámo-nos também à horta
da escola onde aprendemos a conservar alimentos no subsolo.
De tarde os alunos realizaram
atividades experimentais com recurso ao microscópio, relativas às
características dos alimentos crus e cozinhados. Procedeu-se também ao corte e
maceração de couve para ser consumida daí a seis meses.
Para finalizar o dia, os alunos
e os professores portugueses visitaram parte do Museu de Aushwitz/Birkenau.
November 8
The students went to the first class with the partners, then carried out an activity that consisted in placing the food they had available in the food pyramid according to their hierarchy. We also went to the school garden where we learned to conserve food underground.
In the afternoon the students performed experimental activities using the microscope, related to the characteristics of raw and cooked foods. It was also cut and maceration of cabbage to be consumed thence to six months.
To finish the day, Portuguese students and teachers visited part of the Aushwitz / Birkenau Museum.
9 de Novembro
No
último dia visitou-se o Museu “Ratusz”; uma loja de produtos biológicos e os
alunos puderam ainda participar num Workshop sobre tolerância.
Os
alunos dos três países apresentaram os trabalhos realizados no âmbito da
atividade A15 (common health issues, mental and physical).
Por
volta das dezasseis horas realizou-se a cerimónia de encerramento e a
apresentação do trabalho da delegação
sueca.
November 9
On the last day was visited the Museum "Ratusz"; a shop of organic products and the students were also able to participate in a Workshop on tolerance.
The students of the three countries presented the work carried out in the context of activity A15 (common health issues, mental and physical).
Around sixteen hours the closing ceremony and presentation of the work of the Swedish delegation took place.
